Founded in 2013 by Federico Elli and Stefano Filipuzzi, it is a design studio focused on industrial production and communication. Federico Elli, also a lecturer at the Politecnico di Milano, graduated in Industrial Product Design and Engineering from the same university, combining his teaching career with that of an industrial designer.
Stefano Filipuzzi, graduated in Industrial Design from the Politecnico di Milano, has been working for over ten years as an art director and graphic designer, specializing in visual design in both print and digital media.
_blank design studio collaborates with corporate entities in different sectors. It has received awards and recognition for its activities, such as the Sharp Design Contest and the Cristalplant Design Contest in 2013, the special prize at the Samsung Young Design Award in 2014, and was a finalist at the Young&Design in 2015 with the Tombolo table project and in 2019 with the Linea project for Sforzin Illuminazione for Urban Lighting, which was also awarded the Good Design Award in 2020.
